Description

Opening shots show a close up of a man drinking a pint of beer in a pub. John Swallow interviews a unidentified man, who he calls 'the new champion of beer drinks' regarding the forthcoming report that he will submit to the TUC about the varation in beer prices across Birmingham and the surrounding area. The man discusses different prices and says that the cost of furnishing public houses should be met by the breweries, not the customer. He says that he will be requesting that the TUC demand that the government legislate to bring in a maxium price for beer and force pubs to display price lists. Vox pops follow.
