Notes

Story number - 6295. Christopher Simcox murdered his wife's sister in November 1963 and injuring two others. In 1948 he had also served time in prison for murdering a previous wife. He escaped hanging the first time because capital punishment was briefly suspended in the late 1940s. In 1964 Simcox was again reprieved because he was confined to a wheelchair due to injuries sustained in the November 1963 incident.
