Description

Brief view unidentified city (in North Africa?). Views on board ship showing passengers taking part in deck games including a sack race and men battling with pillows whilst sitting on a slippery pole. There are visits ashore at several locations that are likely to be in North Africa including local people posing for the camera, ruins and street scenes in small towns. From the ship we see several views of coastline. After several of these sequences we see shots of the Sphinx at Giza and views of the landscape with pyramids in shot in Egypt. Local people perform dance/war chant armed with swords and shields and there are also views of the Nile and a dam (the old Aswan dam?). A point of view shot is taken from a rail trolley going across the dam. We also see a boy in a small boat and further shots of Egyptian ruins (Karnak?).
