We see shots of Bewdley town centre followed by a country lane leading to The Manor House in Dowles. Next we see shots outside the house of the garden and adjacent barn with commentary about various features by E. L. Claxton. Then there are shots of the owner, Mrs M. C. Sheldon, entering the house. In the rest of the film we see shots of various rooms, furniture and murals inside the house with commentary from Mrs Sheldon.

Some of the house was destroyed in a fire in 1982. A new house was built in its place without permission and has subsequently also been demolished.
