View taken from the top of the old Coventry Cathedral. Shots of trees being cleared to prepare the site for the new building. Views of early stages in the construction laying the foundations and the discovery of buried human remains. We see the plans being inspected and visits to the site by various officials. Views of a model of the proposed building. Brief shots showing the visit of Princess Margaret in 1957. More shots of the construction and completion of the new cathedral including interior shots showing the Christ tapestry followed by shots of the consecration service which took place on 25 May 1962.
