Exterior views of the Patent Shaft Steelworks in Wednesbury which closed in 1980. Takes of a piece to camera from a presenter talking about unemployment in Sandwell and the numbers of Easter 1981 school leavers who are without work. Also talk about the People's March for Jobs which was due to pass through Sandwell on 16 May 1981.
This appears to be a reused tape as the second half contains speakers at the Black Parents Conference (which is dated on another tape in the Jubilee Arts collection as taking place on 25 October 1980).
