The film contrasts the home life of Mitzy Mueller with her taking part in a tag team bout at Oxford Town Hall. We see Mitzy backstage at Oxford preparing to wrestle with Hellcat Haggerty, Paula Valdez and Miss Lena. There are shots of the bout in progress in front of an enthusiastic crowd. At home we see Mitzy doing housework whilst her husband Brian mows the lawn and watching her daughter practice ballet in the living room. Mitzy provides a commentary about why she wrestles for a living.
