In the studio we see a dance performance from the Leicester based mime performer Joey Thomas.

Next, Hilary Minster introduces a film report from Riddings in Derbyshire about the Jamaican born potter Madge Spencer. She is seen at work and visiting a school where she shows children her techniques.

Finally in the studio we see a musical performance from the sarangi player Sabri Khan who is accompanied by Ghulam Sarwar.
