Zia Mohyeddin introduces three items on today's programme:
1. In a film report Peter Emina visits the Chinese artist Nancy Kuo at her studio in Camden Town, London. Nancy is interviewed and seen painting. She describes her influences and also touches on her poetry and dancing.
2. Jamaican reggae singer Frankie Paul accompanied by the Worries Band performs 'Tidal Wave' in the studio.
3. Peter Emina interviews psychiatrist Doctor Aggrey Burke in the studio. Dr Burke, who practises in London, talks about the issues surrounding the lack of Afro-Caribbean psychiatrists and factors such as social depravation that can lead to depression amongst members of the black community.
