Programme presented by Zia Mohyeddin. The first item is a review of the new cinema release 'A Passage to India'. Mita Hackett talks about the film from the studio and we see extracts. This is followed by a studio performance by the French gypsy guitarist Bireli Lagrene. The next item is a film report from London where Peter Emina interviews the fashion designer Bruce Oldfield. We see his clothes being manufactured and modelled. Back in the studio Vera Gilbert talks to Sheila Gibbons of the Birmingham branch of the Citizens' Advice Bureau who gives financial advice.
