Programme presented by Zia Mohyeddin. For the first item Vera Gilbert visits London to watch the new sport of street hockey being played on the concrete of the South Bank. Interview with organiser Alistair Gordon and players David and Raymond. We also see an indoor match taking place in a sports centre at the Elephant and Castle.

Next Zia Mohyeddin introduces an extract from a forthcoming Central Television film about the Birmingham reggae group UB40 that is being broadcast this weekend on Channel 4. The clip shown is a performance in a school of the song Dub Movie.

Finally in the studio Hilary Minster interviews the Jamaican playwright Trevor Rhone about his new play 'Two Can Play' which is being performed at the Theatre Royal in Stratford East London. During the interview we see a clip from rehearsals for the play featuring Corin Skinner Carter and Alastair Bain.
