Description

Programme presented by Zia Mohyeddin who introduces a film report by Paula Ahluwalia about a literary event at the Midlands Arts Centre in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham featuring the black writers James Berry, Buchi Emecheta and Benjamin Zephania. The film opens with the Birmingham born Zephania walking through Cannon Hill Park reciting one of his poems. Each writer is seen performing in front of an audience at the arts centre and is interviewed separately by Paula Ahluwalia about their work.
