Exterior shot of Sikh temple in Dudley. Inside we see Kartar Surinder Singh preaching before seeing him at work at Sandwell Hospital in West Bromwich including talking to patients on the ward. He is interviewed about his career and there is also an interview with Enid Showell, director of nursing services. We then see views of Kinver village in Staffordshire where Mr Singh lives with his family. His is the only Asian family in the village. He is interviewed at home and Mita also talks to his wife Ranjit Kaur who is a community midwife.
