Description

We open with brief shots of a new motorway service station. We see shots in the centre of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Next we see shots outside and inside Harewood House, near Leeds. Following this we see views of well dressing in Tissington as well as sences at Crich Tramway Museum and the court house in Chesterfield. The film continues with shots of Wirksworth well dressing and floats as part of a carnival. There are shots of Chatsworth House, the centre of Chester, a family on Weston-Super-Mare seafront, Matlock Bath (including views of road works on the A6) and Market Harborough. The next section shows workmen tackling a burst water main. We see shots of Blackpool seafront in the daytime and illuminations at night (also distant views of Charlie Drake on stage). The film ends with shots of Leicester Square and busy streets in London.
