At the beginning of the film we see shots of traffic on South Parade, Matlock Bath. We see shots of a building and new pavements being constructed. Next there are shots of illuminations in Derwent Gardens and a trip to Blackpool illuminations. The film continues with shots of a trip to Fernilee Reservoir in Derbyshire. Then there are shots of a jet plane at an airfield, views of Lincoln Cathedral, shots of Cromer seafront and pier in Norfolk and the aftermath of a car crash in Great Yarmouth (these shots towards the end are earlier, probably 1962). Finally we see brief views from a train.
