Description

Shots of a boy playing on a farm at Stonesby (inter-title gives his name as Gray later in the reel). We see a woman giving him a piggy back and him riding in a pony and trap. Views of sheep and lambs in a field. The farmer catches a lamb and lops off its tail. Short colour (Dufaycolor) section shows Gray with animals. Further shots of animals in fields including a goat. Shots of horse rider jumping a fence (after a few refusals). More views of Gray in his pram and toddling and the family playing with a lamb. A dog grabbing a cow's tail. Man with horse posing for the camera and more riding shots. Inter-title gives location as 'Manor Farm'. Man riding motorcycle and side car on two wheels (in the farm yard). Shots of riders from the Belvoir hunt on a lane and assembling outside St Peter's Church at Saltby. We then see horses pulling a plough in a field. 'The farmers race at Burton'. Shots of horse race taking place at Burton Lazars in Leicestershire. The reel ends with shots of shire horses on a lane.
