Description

We open with views of scenery at Edale and the foothills visible from the campsite. We then see shots of the camp with boys posing for the camera in a group and shots of scout leaders. Next there are shots of eggs being fried followed by a boy washing up in a stream, and boys drying plates and then peeling potatoes. We see other camp activities including boys play-fighting, rolling down a hill and one older boy shaving. This is followed by shots of Crowdon Brook including a scout paddling in the water. We then see the boys hauling a tree trunk back to camp and chopping it for firewood. A brief section shows the boys on a railway station platform (said to be a trip to Buxton although no further shots are seen). We end with shots of the boys in the camp taking their flag down at the end of the camp and posing for the camera in a group.
