The film begins with shots of people rowing and canoeing on the River Trent near Barton in Fabis. Next there are shots of scout leaders, scouts and guides playing various games including cricket, skittles and football at an unidentified location, may be local to East Leake. Next there are shots of scouts spinning wheels in the air and crowds watching at another camp. Then we see an intertitle ‘Scouting Day 1967’ and then shots of East Midlands Band Contest award plaques. After this there is an intertitle for the district scout camp 2nd East Leake Cub Scout Camp. Then we see shots of cubs playing games indoors and shots of the camp site. Then we see another campsite followed by shots of various marching bands in East Leake on fields adjacent to Harry Carlton Comprehensive School. Following this there are more shots of boats on a river, then we see sea scouts outside a church in an unidentified location next to the river and then more shots of drumming and marching bands at the South Notts Marching Band Contest in East Leake. The film continues with shots of another scout camp and boys playing games in a field. After this we see shots of more scout marching bands and people watching.
