Description

On a cold and windy day a carnival queen is crowned and delivers a speech. Sat on her throne and with her retinue around her she is towed away on a trailer by a Land Rover followed by a scout marching band and a lorry loaded with children in fancy dress. This is followed by a fancy dress parade, a group of women smoking cigarettes and then the fancy dress prize giving. We then see a hog roast being set-up and another carnival queen crowning and fancy dress parade with a focus on two sisters dressed as 'Bill and Ben: the Flower Pot Men'.
