We open with views of countryside near Claston Farm in Herefordshire and the River Wye at Capler. Next there are shots of women tending hop plants on the farm, meat being roasted on a spit (very dark and hard to see) followed by views of cattle being paraded in a ring at the Three Counties Show. Then there are distant views of a cricket match and briefly tennis at Claston Farm. Next we see shots of oast house buildings at Beltring Hop Farm, Kent. The film continues with shots of a man and two women sitting in the sun, a then on a lane dressed for a wedding. We then have winter shots with people tobogganing in the snow. Then we see shots of a timber framed building in Much Marcle, two women in a garden and dark shots of cattle.

Next we see shots of a shoreline, a woman sitting by the coast and men launching small sailing boats. There are shots of a man and a woman sitting on a beach and feeding seagulls. Finally we see more scenes of people in a garden and a man planting explosives to blow up tree stumps in a field in Bartestree.
