Description

The film begins with intertitle 'Church Parade, 30th May 1954' and shots of gardens and tennis courts at Eyton Hall before the family leave by car. Then we see shots of the corporation, army and ex-servicemen marching into St Peter and St Paul's Priory Church in Leominster and then a procession past the mayor and corporation. Next is the intertitle ' Bowls Match, Leominster Town Council vs. Sydonia, July 1954' followed by shots of the match at Sydonia Park in Leominster. Then we see shots of the Mayor and Corporation at ceremonies at
Moravian Church, South Street, Leominster on 10th October 1954 and at St John's Church, Ivington, on 17th October 1954. Next there are shots of a procession as part of a Remembrance Sunday ceremony on 7th November 1954 and shots of poppy wreaths at the war memorial at St Peter and St Paul's Priory Church. The film continues with intertitle, 'Visiting Leominster Hospital and Old Priory, Christmas Day, 1954' and shots in black and white of a man and woman visiting patients in a hospital ward. Back in colour again there are shots of three children in a lane near Eyton Hall and then brief shots of people arriving at a ceremony at Leominster Methodist Chapel on Sunday 30th January 1955.
