"Garden Fete, Ridgeway July 3rd 1954". In the garden of a large house, likely to be in the Leominster area, we see a group of visitors listening to a speech and then sitting at tables and chatting in groups. There are attractions at the garden party including skittles, pony rides and fancy dress for children. Children are seen holding balloons with 'you are always welcome at the Maypole' written on them (a chain of shops). We also see Frank Dale wearing mayoral chains playing darts. This section ends with the Dale family arriving back at Eyton Hall. "Kingsland Carnival and Flower Show August 2nd 1953". At Kingsland in Herefordshire we see local people wearing costumes and a group of women including a carnival queen sitting on a flat-bed lorry. A marching band performs in a field followed by the lorry and a parade of children wearing fancy dress costumes. There are presentations for the women sitting on the lorry float and inside a marquee we see a display of cut flowers. "Garden Fete, Bankfield, Ivington August 7th 1954". In the garden of a large house at Ivington in Herefordshire we see people posing for the camera, a costume parade and a variety of stalls including hoop-la and skittles.
