Description

We open with views of the Rhine with snow on the ground and a paddle steamer passing the camera. Skaters can be seen on a frozen lake. This is followed by brief views of people walking in woods and high angle views from a vantage point. We then cut to further scenes of the river (in warm weather), a man picks a woman up and she then chases him. The man and two women in bathing costumes are then seen entering the water. Next we are in a city with a tram passing the camera. A group of people play tennis with the Heyl works visible in the background (indicating we are in the city of Worms).

Several brief sections follow including a group sitting on deck chairs, a trip on a cable car and a man stopped by the side of a road examining a motorcycle. After views of a parade in a town we see an aircraft taxiing on a grass landing strip (a Junkers F13). Further brief shots of a large palace with ornamental gardens follow before we are on board a ship which passes several castles before arriving at Bonn (with the Hotel Rheineck visible on the quayside). Brief shots of a cathedral are followed by views of another aircraft on a landing strip. We take off (and can see we are leaving Cologne). After flying over countryside and built up areas (including a stop for refuelling) we fly over sea passing Dover Castle before landing at Croydon Airport.

The next section begins with hard to make out shots taken from a train before we see a sign for Otrokovice (which is in Moravia in the Czech Republic). A large number of people are seen on a street (possibly leaving a factory). The reel ends with unsteady views taken from a moving car driving through the city of Vienna in Austria.
