Tom Coyne introduces the programme with a piece to camera outside the Central Television studio in Nottingham as Sofie and Peter Churchill approach. Sofie has been running and Peter cycling to raise money for the Oxford based anti abortion organisation LIFE.
Next we cut to the studio where Tom Coyne interviews Josephine Box who has been commission by the General Synod of the Church of England to write a report on how to 'Renew Christian Renewal in the Church'. She discusses her report and then Coyne interviews Reverend Arthur Pemberton, the rector of Christ Church at Quinton in Birmingham, on the subject of Christian renewal.
Next, Coyne interviews Sofie and Peter Churchill. After a short musical interlude from Peter on the keyboard, Sofie talks about their fundraising and her opposition to the 1967 Abortion Act.
Next in the stutio Coyne interviews the Right Reverend Barry Rogerson, the Biship of Wolverhampton, about the attitude of the Church of England to divorced people who want to re-marry in church.
Finally in a piece to camera Coyne mentions the on-going miners strike which is now in its 29th week. We then see shots of strike breaking miners in Shirebrook being escorted by police officers past angry crowds shouting 'scab'. The crowds include several young children. Over some of these shots we hear the audio of an interview with a woman whose brother is one of those who has returned to work. Finally a short bible reading is heard over similar shots (read by an uncredited Tony Maycock of Central News).
