Description

In the studio Jenny Hanley talks to Bill Pugh about modern collectables made from plastics. Bill worked for Palitoy and briefly talks about Action Man as well as containers made using the same techniques. Jenny then looks at collectable glass bottles. On film Jenny meets Nick West From Clevedon who has a large collection of vintage beer cans. Back in the studio Jenny talks to David Smith who brought in his collection of pre 1920 cigarette packets. Finally in another film insert Jenny looks at a large collection of containers owned by Robert Opie in Ealing.
