Description

The opening letter is a complaint about habits that presenters fall into such as moving their hands or swivel chairs whilst on air. Next, we have letters about the ITN newsreader Michael Nicholson who recently ended his on-air duties (a clip is shown). Vox pops follow asking people if they had the chance to vote to get rid of a television personality, who would it be? Letters in praise of Auf Wiedersehen Pet (a clip is shown). A letter from a viewer who is unhappy with virtually every aspect of Central's output. Anna talks to young viewer Tracey Keegan on the 'moan phone' who is critical of people appearing on television wearing fur. Young viewers write in to ask what sort of creature is Zippy from Rainbow? A letter calling for the return of television talent shows (Anna reveals that New Faces will return this year). Letters both for and against Magnum PI (a clip is shown). The programme ends with a dancing montage from Central News after a viewer requested more dance on television.
