Description

The first part of the programme is prompting by a letter which points out that disabled viewers have barriers to getting on shows either as game show contestants or audience members. A clip from Bullseye is shown. In the studio, Wendy talks to viewer Margaret Brooks who has spent time in a wheelchair and understands the issues. Also in the studio is the producer and director of Bullseye, Bob Cousins who would welcome applications from disabled contestants but claims that they don't receive any. Ms Brooks thinks this may be because they don't believe that they would be welcome.

Next we have a follow up to letters received last month when Central replaced afternoon programming with a snooker tournament. Previously women had written in saying they were not interested in snooker. This week it is the turn of a man who is unhappy at the thought that his wife might be watching television whilst he is at work. We then have letters from older viewers who are unhappy with the change in broadcast time for the ITV wrestling which has moved to a Saturday lunchtime slot on from its traditional tea time slot. The change does not fit with the domestic arrangements of the viewers but as Wendy points out it is caused by the demise of World of Sport. A clip of the wrestling (LWT) is shown. The final letters are about the Sunday morning broadcast of the American cartoon 'The Care Bears' by TVAM. It is shown at 7.00am but some young viewers would prefer it to be on later. A clip is shown.
