Ninety four football fans were killed today in a crush at the Hillsborough stadium during the FA Cup semi-final match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest. Shots of the press conference led by the chief constable of South Yorkshire, Peter Wright. Interview with Nottingham Forest fan Brian Hill who was angry at the amount of time it took before the authorities realised what had happened. Interview with Doctor Bill Eastwood, the club safety officer for Sheffield Wednesday. Views of the Hillsborough stadium following the tragedy including a close up of a wrist watch stopped at 3.20pm. Shots of supporters’ scarves tied to broken perimeter fencing and the gates at the end of the Leppings Lane stand.
