We see Princess Diana visiting Mountfield County Junior School in Loughborough which has been raising money for the Dr Barnardo's charity of which Diana is a patron. She was shown around the school by fourth year pupil Amy Collins. Vox pops with pupils (including Amy Collins) after the visit. Next she visited the Barnardo's store in Loughborough town centre and then toured Ladybird Books also in the town. Later in the day we see Diana visiting the Charnwood indoor bowls centre in Loughborough and finally the Menphys centre for disabled children at Wigston.
