In January 1988 Colin Pitchfork from Littlethorpe in Leicestershire was found guilty of the murder of Lynda Mann in 1983 and Dawn Ashworth in 1986 in the Enderby and Narborough areas. Jackie Foggin from Fleckney today collected a cheque for £10,000 donated by a local business man. She worked in the same bakery as Pitchfork and told police that she overheard Pitchfork discussing with another colleague Ian Kelly the falsification of evidence.
