Shots of the new system called PCS (Plasma Collection System) being demonstrated by the Blood Transfusion Service in Leicester. It is hoped that increasing the amount of plasma collected will increase the supply of Factor 8 which is vital for haemophiliacs and mean that Factor 8 will not have to be imported, reducing the chances of AIDS contamination.
