Andy Bevan report about the so called Staffordshire Hoard which has items dating back to the early 600s were found by a Midlands man using a metal detector in Staffordshire. Views of the press launch of the collection at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. Clips from amateur video showing the gold being discovered. Interviews with metal detectorist Terry Herbert who made the discovery, Councillor Erica Bayliss of Staffordshire Country Council who was allowed to pick one of the items out of the ground; and Anglo Saxon expert Doctor Kevin Leahy who describes it as an incredible find.
