The Gate Inn at Upper Longdon in Staffordshire was a picturesque rural pub but it was demolished because mining subsidence had made it dangerous. Then tenants were offered a house opposite because the subsidence made it impossible to sell. Still and painting of the Gate Inn. View of site where it stood.
