In the studio Reg Harcourt interviews Anthony Beaumont-Dark MP for Selly Oak (Conservative) and Philip Whitehead MP for Derby North (Labour) about the findings.
Next Rob Whitehouse interviews the Stoke-on-Trent based snooker player Ray Reardon about his politics. We see Reardon winning the recent Yamaha championship in Derby. Reardon talks about his Stoke childhood and early support for the Labour party although he now admits to being a Conservative voter.
On film Rob Whitehouse reports about the popularity of political betting. We see Library pictures of Jim Marshall winning in Leicester at the 1979 General Election. Whitehouse interviews Ron Pollard of Ladbrokes and vox pops with punters in a book makers. In Westminster Whitehouse talks to the Commons bookmaker Ian Mikado MP who regularly takes bets from other MPs. We also hear from John Golding MP and Delwyn Williams MP who both bet with Mikado. Finally in the studio Jon Lander talks to Iain Mills MP for Meriden (Conservative) and Geoffrey Robinson MP for Coventry North West (Labour) about the Chancellor's forthcoming budget.
