On film Len Tingle reports from Bordesley in Birmingham where there are concerns over the poor state of council owned accommodation. Flats on Palmer Street in the area used to house 'difficult' tenants have declined to slum conditions. Edwina Currie of the Birmingham Housing Committee defends the council's position and there are also interviews with tenants and members of a local action group. (Edwina Currie later became a Conservative MP in Derbyshire).
In the studio Sue Winter reports about the varying wine measures served in wine bars across Birmingham. The item is illustrated with stills.
