We open with a view of the Council House and Old Market Square in Nottingham followed by shots of the entrance to the castle and views taken inside the grounds of Nottingham Castle including the statue of Albert Ball and views over the city and Castle Boulevard. Shot of flowers at the entrance to the Council House and buses in Market Square. Shots inside a supermarket including the check-out. Shot of a fruit and vegetable stall run by George Heason. Shot of a block of flats in Sneinton viewed from Bath Street. Children on a playground. Exterior of the Theatre Royal. Views of Wollaton Park. Views taken from a high vantage point looking down on an estate with trolley buses visible. View of a suburban street in Nottingham. We see a Hillman Imp car pulling up. In a small park a man eats an ice cream from a tub.
