Description

After a shot of plans for the school and long shots of the building we see a group of pupils walking up to the main gate on a frosty morning. We then see children in the playground and lining up at the start of the school day as well as views of some building work that is not yet completed. Inside a classroom we see pupils sitting at desks and reading. There are views of an unfinished classroom and hall which cuts to pupils in assembly followed by shots of girls playing netball against a team from Denton. We then see a group of girls in the dining hall with soft drinks followed by the football team posing for the camera on the playing fields. We then see a policeman arriving at school and giving a talk followed by a visit by parents. A Catholic blessing of a religious tableau is followed by shots of kitchen staff preparing the school's Christmas dinner and scenes in the dining room of staff and pupils eating.
