The opening section shows the wedding of Bernard Clark and Dorothy Turner at Holy Trinity Church at Meanwood in Leeds on 9 December 1933. We see arrivals at the church and the bride and groom leaving as confetti is thrown. This is followed by views of their honeymoon in Devon including stormy seas and visits to Widdecombe, Cockington, views of a small car ferry and shots of the Francis Drake statue at Plymouth.
We then cut to views taken from a light aircraft in flight over Retford and then landing at the old aerodrome. This is followed by shots of an air display from Cobham's Flying Circus (likely to have been their appearance at Retford on 30 May 1934). We then see scenes in a garden at Retford followed by unidentified beach scenes. We then see a parade in Retford (held in wet weather on 12 May 1937) to mark the Coronation of King George VI. Decorated floats, a marching band and children in fancy dress costume pass the camera. We also see a burning beacon (at Gringley). After views of ducklings on a river at Meanwood we have a section that shows boating on the River Avon in Warwickshire including briefly Stratford.
A holiday to Devon follows with views of the stone bridge over the River East Dart at Post Bridge (1935) followed by views of sea and ferries (at Torpoint in Cornwall) and the family on a rocky cove (including a woman knitting). We also see work to lift a new boat (the King George) over a wall into the water (at Portmellon?). We then have views from a punt, shots of Norwich Cathedral (1936) (including the grave of Edith Cavell) and further holiday scenes including three men leaping for the camera and women knitting again in deckchairs. There is a beach and cliffs which may have been shot at Hunstanton. The final section in very faded colour (1936) shows a visit to Sandringham in Norfolk.
