Description

We open with shots of a boat being launched into the River Trent near Newark. Next we see children having a garden party (at a house on Maxtoke Road on the Park estate in Nottingham). They play tag and having a walking race balancing oranges on spoons. A girl also holds up ducklings to the camera. They then eat ice cream from paper plates and a group of girls practice their hand-stands. The next section shows Mrs Ball and daughters on a walk near a large house with dogs and coming across some cows in a field. This is followed by further shots of the garden at Maxtoke Road showing flowers in bloom. We then see Sir Albert Ball getting into a rowing boat in the grounds of Stanford Hall at Stanford on Soar followed by shots of performing seals also at Stanford Hall with a keeper feeding them fish and the seals playing with a ball.
