The film begins with a picnic in a wooded area. This is followed by soldiers marching (possibly Officer Training Corps (OTC)) who are subsequently addressed by a high ranking officer. A young girl is then seen in a large garden with two adult women. The girl plays with her nanny/nurse in a small garden pond while dressed in a swimming costume. We then see views of a river (River Avon?) and a woman and two boys pulling a row boat out of the river. The woman then expertly paddles out on the river. A young girl is then seen playing with a dog in a garden at Welford (?) while a maid and nanny watch at the door. Children then play cricket in the garden. Back at the river and a young man is bailing water out of a row boat, fitting a rudder and then helping a woman and boy on board. In another garden people are seen practising their fly fishing technique and their golf swing and then two women are seen walking around a garden. A baby Austin Seven car is reversed out of a domestic garage. Back at the house at Welford and the adults are practising their golf swing again while an Automobile Association (AA) patrolman repairs a flat tyre on a car. Adults then enjoy a picnic at Craig Goch Dam in the Elan Valley, Wales, which is followed by a school sports day including prize giving and adults pulling faces.
