Views of Witton army camp which is still owned by the government. 500 women of the ATS were based at the camp during the war generally working for the Royal Army Pay Corps. We see establishing shots of buildings in Droitwich Spa including the brine baths and the recently closed Winter Gardens (sign says the Pentagon). These are the locations the women would have known well. Reg Harcourt piece to camera with three women of the ATS who still live locally. We then see the arrival by taxi of four more women who have not been back to the area for thirty years. They are reunited and reminisce about their army life whilst standing in the grounds of Witton barracks. The women are then seen outside Norbury House Hotel where they were billeted. They continue to talk about the war years including their relationship with the American troops and the story of a ghost that was said to haunt the hotel.
