Description

Soldier Stuart Smith-Blain from Hall Green, staged his own particular protest by climbing up a lamp post, making abusive signs and shouting abuse at the marchers, while still wearing his uniform as a member of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Interview with Stuart Smith-Blain's sister, Linda Smith Blain who received injuries in the 1974 Birmingham pub bombings which were thought to have provoked the soldier's outburst.
