Description

Lionel Hampden introduces the report with a piece to camera at Lechlade in Gloucestershire where the restored boat, The Dunmara, is to be relaunched. It is to be crewed by Lionel and four apprentices from Dunlop who have worked on the craft. Hampden interviews Julian Bell, press officer, for Dunlop about the project and we see stills of the restoration work. We then see the 1920s motor canoe being launched and travelling south along the River Thames. We also see shots of another river craft, the steam powered Araminta. The apprentices then interview Russell Winn, the owner of Araminta.
