The report opens with establishing shots of St Andrew's brine baths at Droitwich Spa. We also see the pool inside and the laundry and boiler house. Peter Plant talks to several women enjoying the medicinal waters who are unhappy at the decision to close the baths. Outside the pool he then talks to Councillor Anne Sandals who voted against the closure and Pat Rusk, Chief Executive of Wychavon Council about the economic reasons for the closure. It is also reported that a new baths are planned for the site and that the staff who lose their jobs will be employed as council cleaners.
