Prince Charles started by re-opening the YMCA centre in Leicester which has undergone extensive renovation. Inside he watched a Taekwondo demonstration from champion Ron Sergiew in which the Prince held up a wooden board whilst Sergiew broke it with his foot. He is also seen on stage at the YMCA theatre with a musical theatre group. After a stop at the Belgrave neighbourhood centre, he was presented with a hunting horn before leaving the city by helicopter. (Followed by 15 minutes of trims of the visit that includes additional shots of the Prince at the YMCA as the Lord's Prayer is recited, visiting a children's nursery and chatting to a group of young ballet dancers).
