We see a panning shot of the Leicestershire Schools Orchestra performing in a hall. The conductor Andrew Fairburn is then interviewed by John Mitchell about the situation regarding a reduced level of investment which could lead to the dissolution of the orchestra. Three of the musicians are then interviewed, who all agree that extra funds are needed in order to keep the orchestra going.
