Description

Opening section shows the manufacture and testing of Acrilan at the Chemstrand factory at Coleraine in Northern Ireland. The bales of Acrilan are then manufactured into carpets and processes of spinning, dyeing, weaving and then cutting to length and packaging are shown. After testing of the finished carpets we then see examples of the marketing of Acrilan including advertising photography and rolls of carpet in a shop.
