Description

The film opens with clips from a 1958 Pathe newsreel that shows naturists camping at Woburn Abbey. Later in the film we also see clips from an amateur film of naturists at St Albans in 1938.

The film constrasts the different approaches to naturism between the 'traditional' club members represented by Peter Beckerton who runs a camp and is hosting an International Youth Rally and the views of a group calling themselves neo-naturists who take a more art based approach to their nudity involving much body painting. Also interviewed at the traditional camp are nudists: Michael Spice; Roy Baggley; Robert Townhill; Gerry Ryland; and Lindsey Townhill as well as a number of foreign visitors to the youth rally. The neo-naturists are seen body painting and taking a boat trip. They are not named. The traditional naturists are seen camping, cooking, swimming and taking part in various sports.
