Description

We see a sports day for children from the Royal School for the Deaf including various races, a display of gymnastics and physical jerks; and a maypole dance. (Note: the sports day material is from two different years the b/w material is 1938 and the colour material c1946). We then see the children in a railway carriage heading to Skegness (including a view from the carriage window) and various scenes on the beach at Skegness including a ride on a boat (Grace Darling 2). We then see the children swimming and diving into a lido at Skegness and a group of boys playing in a fountain (the Skegness material is all 1938).
