The film utilises two 8mm amateur films shot by Derek Wilson in the village of Great Longstone. The first is of a morris dancing display in July 1958 and the second shows a fete taking place on 2 July 1960. Frank Parker provides a commentary on this documentary describing events and also uses graphic captions to put names to faces.
